About

Dr Moollan is a Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology with twenty years' experience across leading London teaching hospitals — including Guy's & St Thomas', King's College Hospital and St George's — now seeing private patients at The Harley Street Hospital.

He is known, above all, for the quality of his consultations — for the time he takes, the care with which he listens, and his ability to help each woman understand what is really happening and decide what is right for her. His approach is attentive and whole-person: he looks beyond the immediate symptom to the fuller picture — your history, your circumstances, and what matters most to you.

He has particular depth in hormonal, menstrual and menopausal health, and brings an integrative view of health — weighing lifestyle and wellbeing alongside conventional gynaecology.

The practice

It begins with being heard.

Most women arrive carrying more than their symptoms — their own worries, and often fears that belong to other people. The first part of a consultation is simply to set those down, and to return to what is true for you.

What follows takes its time. Your story is heard in full and pieced together — the feeling, the history, and everything around it — until what is happening makes sense to you, in plain words, often drawn out on paper so that you can take it with you. So often, the answer was in the story all along.

Sometimes that leads to treatment. Sometimes to reassurance, or to seeing your situation clearly for the first time.

Concerns women bring to him

Day-case surgery

His surgical practice centres on minimal-access, day-case hysteroscopy — treating problems within the womb without the need for a general anaesthetic. This includes the removal of fibroids and polyps, endometrial biopsy, and the fitting or removal of coils.

What to expect

A first consultation is calm and without pressure. Dr Moollan takes a full history, talks through your concerns, and explains clearly what he finds — so that you leave understanding your body, your options, and what happens next. He sees patients from the UK and overseas. Initial remote consultations are available for international patients.
